Make Some Fall Treats
Nothing says fall like pumpkin carving, baking (and eating!) yummy treats, and apple picking. Luckily, there are some ways to transform your fall favorites into a dog-safe treat. Apples, roasted pumpkin, and pumpkin puree are all great treats for dogs—just make sure all seeds and skin are removed, and that they’re served plain! You can make homemade dog treats, apple chips, add a dollop of pumpkin puree to their food, or even give them some cubed roasted pumpkin as a food topper. There are so many ways for your pup to enjoy the classic fall treats!
Enjoy the Outdoors
Fall is the perfect time to embrace the outdoors, and Connecticut has no shortage of beautiful sites to explore. However, as fall goes on, we get less daylight—before you know it, the sun will be setting as you get home from work. So, it's important to take advantage of the beautiful weather with your pup while you can!
To make sure your pup makes the most out of the good weather before winter comes, consider enrolling them in our daycare.
